Tomorrow is the Chinese traditional festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, in order to let the welfare of the old people have a warm and happy holiday and carry forward the Chinese traditional virtue of respecting and caring for the elderly ", in June 8th, Guangzhou City, Zilu woman club, united with Yuexiu charity, organized a condolences activity to the welfare homes at the Dragon Boat Festival.

This morning, Guangzhou Yuexiu District Civil Affairs Bureau deputy director Chen Hanrong, and Zilu woman club founder Pan Jie, with a love gift to Yuexiu District Dongshan welfare homes, visited a number of elderly people live there, and sent them care and blessings.

In the speech, Zilu woman club founder Mrs. Pan Jie had mixed feelings. She said that now the social life is fast-paced, and people are rushing to work and life, in the pursuit of high quality of tomorrow, but often forgotten many things, ignoring the inner needs of the elder’s. They need more care and love from society, family and children when they enter the old age.

Therefore, it is suggested that people working in different fields should actively help the old people in solving their difficulties and do their best to give the old people more care.

Mrs. Pan Jie also said: "The old people is treasure. They have experienced a lot, and also dedicated a lot to us. We want to express deep respect to you old people. I wish you health ,longevity and happy life in their old age!" In a few words, Pan Jie express the most sincere and lofty respect to the old people.

Chen Hanrong, deputy director of the Bureau of civil affairs of Guangzhou, Yuexiu District, encouraged the elderly and appealed to people from all fields to extend their warm and loving care and help to the elderly.

President of Yuexiu District Dongshan Welfare Institute, Wang Shihao send festival blessings for everyone, but also expressed thanks for the concern of the society.

After the speech, deputy director of the Guangzhou Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau of Yuexiu District Chen Hanrong and the founder of woman club Mrs. Pan Jie sent rice dumplings, elderly cereal and other gifts to each elderly’s hand, carefully asking the living conditions, their health, and deeply express their care for the society.

After receiving the gift of love, the old people filled with laughter, so that everyone is warm heart.
