Of course yes！2018 S/S Show of Guangzhou Fashion Week comes on 8th-14th Nov.

On Guangzhou city central axis of Haixinsha－Canton Tower—Flower City Square, there will be a grand fashion show including a 3000-square-metre fashion launch platform and a 9000-square-metre fashion concept exhibition.

An international fashion conference with win-win cooperation.

In July this year, the organizing committees of both New York and Guangzhou Fashion Weeks reached a strategic partnership with each other, proposing establishing an international fashion organization as an exchange platform－“Global Fashion City-link Alliance”, which is to promote multilateral communication and exchanged visit mechanism, to coordinate fashion activity schedules, to organize important fashion events and to share successful experience.

On the occasion, Guangzhou municipal government leaders will personally meet with all global guests. Elites in fashion industry will get together to discuss on fashion development by attending Global Fashion City-link Round Table and Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Hundred Chambers of Commerce’s Joint Conference of Greater Bay Area’s Fashion Industry, in order to promote the win-win cooperation of global fashion industry. 

A dazzling global fashion feast.

As two biggest fashion markets in the world, how Guangzhou and New York are going to enhance international exchange and foster outstanding designers and brands entering into each other’s markets, is a topic of two nations’ fashion field to be solved for a long time.

As the beginning of bilateral cooperation, many star designers from New York Fashion Week will have their first Chinese show in 2018 S/S of Guangzhou Fashion Week. Guangzhou Fashion Week continues to work together with GUANGZHOU GTLAND PLAZA and LIBER FASHION GROUP to hold Fashion Show and Global Original Design Exhibition, in addition, Life Concept Exhibition, Guangzhou Fashion Shopping Week and Pearl River Fashion Summit will all appear at the same time.

Apart star designers from America, Korea, Italy, Germany, France, Xu Ming, a famous Chinese designer, will also appear in Guangzhou Fashion Week. 

She is a modeling arts and costume designer enjoying reputation in France fashion field.

She is the third Chinese woman appearing on the famous French magazine Paris Match after Zhang Manyu and Gong Li.

Since 1991, she has been the chief designer of many large-scale events including CCTV Spring Festival Gala, New Year’s Day party, the opening ceremony of Continental Sports Event,etc.

In March 2014, Xuming was invited to attend the closing ceremony of Paris Fashion Week to have her foundation show of “Bronze Series”.

Her works with heavy texture have a sense of vicissitudes, and her design techniques are totally different from those of European designers. All these attracted the exhibition manager of French Galeries Lafayette store, and then Xu Ming became the first ethnic Chinese designer to have fashion show in Paris Fashion Week. She successfully introduced China Fashion to the world.

In May of the same year, Xu Ming was invited to have her solo exhibition in the 33th International Rose Festival in France, and then she was invited to walk the red carpet in Cannes Film Festival under the invitation of Cannes’ provincial governor.

After becoming famous in France, Xu Ming came back to China and worked as the chief costume designer for the closing ceremony of 2008 Paralympic Games as well as the opening ceremony of 2010 Guangzhou Asian Para Games.

In addition, She was the only Asian designer invited to attend the Famous Designer Activity of Unite Nations in Paris Palace, among those invited were designers of Dior, Chanel, Miu Miu and so on.

From the generous and masculine Bronze Series, gorgeous and aggressive Dragon and Phoenix, to the solemn and splendid Tasting Tea While Buddha Speaks and the Tasting Tea While Jade Speaks which returns to the original nature, Xu Ming’s every work hides a kind of surprising charm like a cup of Chinese tea whose flavor increases with each new tasting.
