On November 20, under Guangzhou Design Night & Guangzhou Fashion Week, Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Hundred Chambers of Commerce’s Joint Conference of Greater Bay Area’s Fashion Industry was held successfully in Canton Tower. With the witness of global fashion professionals and fashion business association guests, Fashion Industry Alliance of Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Greater Bay Area was launched to set a common goal of establishing Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Fashion Bay Area.

Whether the cooperation is in industry segmentation or crossing national boarder, we can introduce good resources and technology, but more importantly is to export Chinese culture essence, design and brands. Guangzhou is actually very suitable to build such a global industrial platform and environment because it is equipped with integrated industrial eco-chain as well as the Canton Fair which is China’s first major trade fair. Guangzhou is located in the core center Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Greater Bay Area, possessing lots of duty-free policies. With good timing and place, and the harmonious human condition constituted by Guangzhou Fashion Week and Hundred Chambers of Commerce’s Joint Conference, it is indeed the best time to build Guangzhou Global Fashion Town now.


She also said that Guangzhou is the largest provincial city in garment production and the largest garment circulation base in China. As China and world’s leading fashion industry cluster, Guangzhou shoulders the responsibility of industrial transformation and upgrading in Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Greater Bay Area. The Fashion Town, which is planned to be invested 8 billion, offers soil for innovation and business start-up. It will be constructed as an incubation ground with high-efficient coordination in the overall process of design, procurement, production, sale, service and so on, which will foster the agglomeration and integration of design and innovative resources, promote the global fashion competitiveness of Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and speed the achievement of supercity with economic circle in Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

It is known that Guangzhou Global Fashion Town will cost 8 billion to be established. In the future, it will become an international communication and transaction platform to connect global fashion industry resources.
